ALL THE KIDS WANNA SNIFF SOME GLUE
Banishora, Sofia 2011
Separating a soviet-built estate and the main yard in Sofia, this green patch was once a hidden entrance to the sweetest spot you could paint back in the day. Months before the spot was officially pronounced a ‘grave’ yard, glue-sniffing gypsies saw the opportunity and quickly took over the place. Some of the trains there were still in use when they started extracting scrap metal from the nearby carriages. It was just a matter of weeks before the place looked like a dump site and the smell of machine oil in the air became a foul mix of piss, shit and rotting flesh. The gypos even built ‘headquarters’ out of compartment doors from where they fuelled their low-life lifestyle. After the gypsy invasion the spot died and all what was left was the poisonous stink, shattered glass, ripped-up seats and hundreds of those empty blue glue cans laying around on the dirt.
I feel for all the blokes who were trying to sneak there in 1am, got all of their possessions stolen either by the occasional beating or at knifepoint.
Note: You can listen to The Ramones while taking a mind-trip down there - you can almost feel the heavy stink

Crash-testing screenprinting in photoshop but I’ll be getting into the real thing soon. Who’s up to trade handmade prints or maybe even buy one? Give me a shout
A few days back I received a copy of tommysussex's latest zine - Lviv. It's pretty dope, I love how he captures the atmosphere of this Ukrainian city. Coming from an ex-communist country myself, I almost felt homesick for a moment there - not too sure if that's good or bad tho. Looking forward to see his coverage of the riots there, I remember seeing an article about him in Dazed, so it should be awesome as well
